Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy is a holistic system of medicine. It aims to promote healing responses to diseases by administering specially prepared substances that mimic the symptoms of thoses diseases in healthy people.Modern homoeopathy was founded in the 18th century by German physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann and is now used worldwide, with a 200 year history of effective clinical experience. It is recognised by the World Health Organization as a valid form of health care.

In Britain, for example,there are five homoeopathic hospitals available under the National Health Service (NHS) including the London Homoeopathic Hospital.

How does it Work?

The word "Homoeopathy" is derived from the Greek words meaning "similar" and pathos meaning "suffering".The cornerstone of homoeopathic philosophy is the law of similars.This law or principle is based on a long-held belief that dates back to Hippocrates,the Father of Medicine,and other ancient healers that substances that produce symptoms in a healthy individual can be used to treat similar symptoms in a sick person. Homoeopathic treatment is believed to stimulate the bodys ability to fight infection and susceptibility to disease.

Homoeopathic medicines are made from a variety of sources,such as plants,animals and minerals. They are prepared acording to strict  guidelines set out in international pharmacopoeias and under the control of the TGA. The medicines are considered safe and free from serious adverse reactions since they are highly diluted.These mediicnes can be given in the form of liquid,powder or tablets.Jan has been a homoeopath since 1989.with Australian Centre for Homoeopathy.

CASE HISTORY Reiki Houseblessing .

A little girl presented with a really bad stutter  after one Reiki session the little girls stutter improved 5o%. The treatment also picked up there was problems in the little girls bedroom , Jan suggested a housblessing was required to help the little girl sleep.

The Reiki houseblessing was done.A fter the houseblessing  the little girl slept and her stutter was almost gone.  As a result the little girls mother went onto learn Reiki1 & 2 with Jan.
