Background:   

Jan has worked for the past 28 years in various areas of the Natural Health Industry, including bereavement care, supporting people living with cancer and aids on the Central Coast of NSW, helping women in abusive relationships restablish their lives, worked extensively with children/ teenagers with A.D.D. and her passion is giving Reiki  treatments and teaching Reiki since 1994.

Jan has diplomas in Remedial Massage,Homoeopathy,Iridology, Deep Tissue.Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release.Reiki 1 & Reiki2 and Master training with Phyllis Lei Furumoto Lineage Bearer of Usui Shiki Ryoho .

Jan has helped so many with physical pain,emotional and mental issues.Jan also specializes in Feng Shui and houseblessings.

Jan and her students have helped families whose children have leukaemia  with the Make a Wish Foundation on Mt Tamborine in early 2002-2005.Supporting Dreamworkers an amazing charity on the Gold Coast 2009.

My journey with Reiki.

I had a whiplash when my 1st child was 4mths old. After a long journey of healing I discovered how important massage was for me to cope with the pain. I studied Swedish Massage in 1983 and got my first job as a masseuse  at  Fountaindale clinic. . I also gave colonic irrigation to ill clients with cancer.  I knew there was more to healing cancers than diet etc. The emotional causes were  not being addressed.

I gave my whole energy to these clients consequently my body's chi energy became very low. I slipped a disc in my back and this led me to take a reiki 1 class with Rev. Beth Gray in Randwick a suburb of Sydney. At the same time I had been tested for food allergies and had 26 food intolerances.

I applied Reiki to myself everyday for a minimum of 1hr as instructed by my teacher and as well treated my clients with Reiki. After 12mths I was retested for the allergies which had dissappeared and my back was healed.

I no longer was just using my own chi energy I had been attuned to the life force energy known as Reiki. Every time I treated a client I was using the life force energy and I no longer depleted my own energy.

My first  two clients were stroke victims. I gave them two sessions of Reiki twice weekly for many years as well as their wives who were their carers.The community nurses also got Reiki from me.

 Reiki 1 helped me and my clients amazingally. My friend June who had recommended I learn Reiki with Beth encouraged me to learn Reiki 2 .I already felt I had gained alot doing Reiki 1 but when I was attuned to Reiki 2 my whole spiritual world opened up for me . It was like a curtain was pulled back from in front of my eyes. I became clare audiant and a medium. The healings were twice as strong and twice as healing. Being able to tap into myself and others sub conscious just took healing to a whole much profound level. To be able  to send distant healings to people was and is still is extremely profound and lifesaving in many cases.

Word of mouth spread through the community on the Central Coast of N.S.W.Mandala clinic heard how successful the Reiki was for supporting people.We were paid by the N.S.W. Health Dept.   I and other practitioners worked with H.I.V.clients, the Reiki treatments given helped the clients  physically , mentally and emotionally.

Working with clients with cancer using Reiki is very empowering for them. Reiki helps them dig deep to get to the cause of the cancer on the emotional level.

My calling was to teach Reiki hence I became a Reiki Master in 1994 . I was initated by Phyllis Lei Furumoto Lineage Bearer of the Usui Shiki Ryoho System..

 Holding Reiki classes since in Eastern states of Aust, Greece, Bali,Phillipines.

I began teaching Masters 12years later.

In late 2007, I was very proud to initiate Helen Lowe from Newcastle NSW as a Reiki Master. Helen has a background in Natural therapies and counselling.Helen has held Reiki groups, attended many classes and supported the system for over 10 years.Helen teaches in Newcastle.

I also initiated Paulene Brown, who was a student in my first Reiki class in 1995, as a Reiki Master. Paulene teaches on the Central Coast of NSW. Paulene worked in my clinic as a Reiki practitioner and also at a HIV clinic, and is a registered nurse..

Lynette Horne was initated as a master in August 2008.    Lynette has a background in Natural Therapies trained in Sydney .She has co ordinated in Northern Beaches , and has assisted at many Reiki classes in Sydney, the Central Coast and Queensland over the past decade.

All 3 Masters have had Practitioner training as well as Master training.

Personally, Reiki has empowered me and changed my life. I got rid of claustrophobia, 26 food allergies,a fear of heights and stairs. It helped me recover from a near fatal car accident.Marvellous for a slipped disc I once had.
